About
I graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (Budapest, Hungary) as a Designer in Visual Communication (MA). After working as a graphic designer for several years, I got a job offer from Industrial Light & Magic (a Lucasfilm division) to work as a matte painter in their - that time - newly opened office in Singapore. Since 2006, I've been living in this unique and charming Asian country. Since 2011 I have been working as an educator at Nanyang Polytechnic: a design & media school.
The natural world, especially birds, has always fascinated me. I love observing and photographing avian behaviours. This helps me to build my own reference library and to understand the subjects better. In my paintings, I like to explore and study further these fantastic feathery animals and represent their unique - sometimes very human-like - characteristics to pay tribute to the ever so vulnerable and fragile Nature surrounding us.
